The 875 EX is an improved version of the classic custom 875. It features a smooth response and a deep, refined sound full of rich colours. They also feature a solid feel with quick and nimble action, a wide dynamic range, stunning projection, and an authoritative tone with a beautifully defined tonal core.

The YAS-875 EX Custom alto saxophone has been around for over 15 years and in this time has become world renowned for it's warm, clear tone, perfect intonation and superb build quality. One of the big differences between this model and its competition is professional player's find it can be used for all genres music. Classical players find the warm sound enhances their style of music whilst jazz saxophonists find the depth and projection the perfect solution. This is down to the thick gauge brass, G1 crook and it's unique open bore allowing the player to produce a warm, round tone making this the most versatile saxophone on the market.
