The specifications of its bell, barrel, toneholes and other features are very close to those of our top Custom models, and its handcrafted finishing ensures top quality performance.

The YCL-650S is excellent value for money, providing the player with a professional quality clarinet at a much lower price. It contains many of the features and playing characteristics of the custom series clarinets including undercut toneholes, resonance chamber in the bell and many of the benefits only seen on handcrafted instruments.

A straight cylindrical bore ensures a sweet clean sound on this classy instrument. The 650 is made from high quality selected and seasoned Grenadilla wood to ensure the finest tone colour and durability.

African blackwood, silver plated keywork, adjustable thumbrest, warm sound, undercut toneholes for precise intonation, supplied in a hard case with mouthpiece and Yamaha accessory pack.
