Product Information

These are the Reserve Organic reeds for Clarinet. Each reed comes single-sealed in a recyclable paper reed holder and flow wrap. The reeds are exactly the same as the previous Reserve range, with the same geometry, manufacturing process, manufacturing location and indeed the same cane sourcing, it's only the packaging that has changed.

The Reserve Organic reeds feature a shorter vamp which provides an even tone across all registers. The rounded tip corners help with the warmth of tone, and this model has a thinner tip thickness for quick response. In general the Reserve range are cut to the tightest tolerances offering the most consistent reeds on the market.

No reed is perfect but I find these more consistent than Vandoren.

I've been using the Rico Reserves for about 2 years now, and I've not had a problem yet. The reeds come in their separate little cases, and some boxes have Rico's Reed Revitaliser Pack, which I can't say makes much difference. Each reed lasts about 2 months, longer if you're swapping regularly.I'd recommend these reeds to any grade 5+ player.
