Product Information

The YPC-62M Professional wooden piccolo is an excellent instrument for those wishing to seriously combine flute and piccolo playing in an orchestra or other ensemble. This piccolo is well known for its flexibility and brilliant intonation. The 62M features a wooden body with a silver plated headjoint that includes a solid silver lip plate.

For experienced Flute players coming to the Piccolo they do seek a wooden body due to the quality of tone it can produce. This version with the silver plated head helps the player feel comfortable as it's very similar to a standard flute headjoint design. Like all high quality Yamaha piccolo models this 62M is expertly crafted in Japan.
