The BG S50M Yoke Brace strap offers a very broad neck support with brace style straps running down the players back to the belt area. This combination spreads the weight very evenly around the whole upper body and avoids excessive weight on the central neck area.
The Yoke part is the broad neck support that is wider than most and spreads the weight evenly across the shoulders, the Braces then run behind the player down to the belt area, here they can be clipped on and this transfers some more of the weight and balances it against the shoulders.
The 50M has a metal hook for extra strength so is really best when used on Tenor or Baritone Sax.
