Excellent work in refurbishing my trumpet. Looks and sounds fantastic. Kept me well informed as to progress and stayed within budget.
Service rating : Very good on the whole. Great mouthpiece, But, small matter, gave me a tenor mouthpiece cover for my alto mouthpiece, ie too big. When I emailed the problem, they kindly offered to send another. When it came it was another tenor one. Haven't bothered to persue it.Product : Excellent. Made huge difference to my tone.

Service rating : Rented a Yamaha oboe to learn on. Had to go back after a couple of months- clearly had not been in a fit condition when initially rented. 6 months later had to go back again. Both times was expected to pay the carriage, at least one direction. Second time I cancelled the rental - why should you pay for shipping for repairs which are needed because you have been given an old poorly maintained instrument to rent? They are set up for rental to local people who can pop in the shop for a quick repair, not for people who live far away. Also factor in the fact that I lose a week or so worth of rental period waiting for job to be done and instrument to return - loss of around £10 therefore.Product : Rented a Yamaha oboe to learn on. The website was easy to navigate. Ordering was straight forward and delivery was quick.
The full service on the Bb Prologue seems excellent but I need to play the instrument a little more to be sure.I am still having difficulty with the brand new Seles Presence - lower joint l-r keys. It will have to come in again.The Buffet tosca is also not quite right on alternate Eb *********. I have had to do minor repairs myself regularly.Unfortunately it is a long way for me to keep travelling and I lead a busy life so can't get in easily. And the travelling cost is mounting up.Everyone is so helpful when I get over so I hope we can continue under guaranteeRosalind
