The classic white and red bucket mute by Humes & Berg is well loved and respected by players around the world. Ever since the golden years of swing and big band there have been players using the famous white and red mutes that have stayed true to their original designs. After all, if they were good enough for the musicians with Ellington, Basie and the like they should still be suitable to this day.The bucket mute offers a soft, velvety muted tone that is great in a section and even sometimes in solo environments. This particular model is suited to small-med size Trumpet bells of 4-4.5" in diameter. There is also a larger 5" model available. Just measure up your bell before ordering to make sure you get the right one.
