The new Jupiter JBC-1000S is essentially a re-numbered version of the previous JCL-675NII which was very popular with buyers at this price point looking for a high quality ABS body low Eb Bass Clarinet. The re-design includes more ergonomically placed keywork to facilitate easier fingering.

A newly-crafted bell projects a dark, rich tonal quality with exceptional clarity and power. The addition of blue steel springs gives the player enhanced key responsiveness and balanced action in all registers. For ease of assembly, a new bell tenon design provides a solid seal that is stable yet easy to disassemble.

Bass Clarinets NEED very careful pre-sale set up, we carefully check all pads, springs, regulation screws etc and adjust them so the instrument is playing as easily as possible. Without this work Bass Clarinets can feel harder to play and really struggle in the top register.
