Product Information
Designed for optimum rotor surfaces and casing lubrication, this oil contributes to smooth valve operation. Yamaha drew upon decades of experience manufacturing horns for some of the most demanding players in the world to create a line of 100% synthetic oils designed specifically for musical instruments.
In addition to producing smooth action and fast response, the oils protect valves and valve casings from corrosion with a long-lasting coating on brass instrument rotors as found on Trombones, French Horns and other rotor brass instrument. The oil comes in a child resistant container to prevent accidental ingestion.
The fast action and smooth response of Yamaha synthetic oils last longer than traditional mineral-based oils while staying consistent and stable even in different temperatures. The special synthetic formulation ensures that the size of the molecules in each viscosity is consistent and provides the optimal balance of duration and performance.

I always use Yamaha products (rotor oil, slide oil, slide cream etc) they know their stuff! It seems their lubrication products are more refined, last longer, run smoother and even smell better than other products on the market. It`s just my opinion, but it works for me!
Very good product ... does what it should
My trombone gets through quite a lot of valve oil. Yamaha oil seems to be the most efficient.
This oil was unavailable for a while because of packaging safety issues. Alternative oils were not as good.
Pleased to have the Yamaha oil available again.
