I have had my YTS62 Tenor for over ten years and when I bought it I wanted a darker sound than the standard, I never kept the original mpc and Lig but traded for a rovner lig and ottolink. I recently tried the standard Yamaha 4c and this metal ligature. The rovner lig really is darker but this ligature introduces the crispness I needed for contemporary rock and pop sounds, I am back with 4c and this lig and loving the upper crispness I was sadly lacking. Worth while going down a number or 1/2 on the reed also to gain a bit of extra top end.
