Product Information

The YSL882OR Xeno Trombone features an open wrap F section with a reversed tuning slide for the ultimate in free blowing and minimal resistance. Serious competition for the other custom models in the pro Bb/F range.

The balanced response rotor system helps air release evenly into the F-attachment slide creating a smoother transition from the Bb open horn to the engaged F-attachment. 

Both the main tuning slide and the F-attachment tuning are reversed, allowing for a less restricted airflow throughout the instrument. This, combined with the open wrap design, ensures a quick and open response from the instrument.

This is a fabulous instrument and a contender with all the great trombones. Consistent in every register and a deep and rich tone, that can take as much air as you want to push through it. Having said that it is as happy in the quiet, smooth and sensitive areas of playing. A definite must for a blow if you're comapring for a new exciting instrument. I love mine. I also have the YSL-882GOR, both bought from Dawkes andf with absolutley no regrets or reservations for the instruments or where I sourced them from.
