The Maestro YAH-602 was for many years the top Yamaha professional model Tenor Horn in their range. This model helped secure respect for Yamaha amongst the Brass Band community and led many to switch over from Besson to the 602 where they could find improved tuning, higher quality manufacturing and excellent tonal response.

Designed alongside some of the leading Tenor Horn players and soloists of the day, the Maestro has an 8 inch bell with a 0.469 inch bore. This combination offers plenty of projection yet with excellent control and stability in the tuning from top to bottom.

This particular pre-owned instrument is in very clean condition having seen only light use in its life. The lacquer is very clean throughout and there are only a couple of extremely minor marks picked up in normal use, otherwise it's in excellent aesthetic order. Like all our pre-owned brass instruments this Tenor Horn has been fully checked and set-up in our workshop prior to sale. All the valves and slides have been checked and adjusted to be in optimal condition.
