The YCL-CSVR Clarinet has been carefully refined to give players unrivalled freedom of expression. A number of significant features have been incorporated into the instrument’s design allowing Yamaha to deliver a clarinet that meets clarinetists’ desires for a higher standard of clarinet.

Its beautiful tone, rich expressive capabilities throughout the dynamic range, and with exceptional presence, the new YCL-CSVR sets new standards in professional clarinet craftsmanship.

Continuing from the recent success of the YCL-CSG model the Yamaha range of pro clarinets have seen a large rise in market share over the last 3-4 years. This new CSVR will only help put more pressure on the other competitors including Buffet R13, Buffet RC etc.

  • Thicker key plating for added sonority at higher volumes.
  • Durable leather pads give a cleaner sound and longer lasting pad life.
  • New ergonomic C#/G# key, slightly longer for easier reach and better feel.
  • Traditional bell and barrel shape offer classic focus and presence to the tone.
  • Adjustable thumb rest with strap ring.
