The minimum rental contract period is 3 months and is subject to a credit reference check.
After the initial payment all subsequent monthly payments must be made by Direct Debit on the 20th of each month.
Two forms of identification are required before a rental can be agreed, e.g. Driving Licence, Credit Card, Public Utility Bill, etc.. During the rental, all instruments remain the sole property of Dawkes Music Ltd.
Unlike most schemes, the Rental payments are not calculated using the Recommended Retail Price which often means paying an APR in excess of 30% (the Office of Fair Trading have ruled that, if the rental is not based on the cash purchase price, an APR must be declared).
