Returning a Rental Instrument

There are various ways to return your rental instrument, please see one of the options below:

1. In Store Return

If it's possible to bring the instrument back in person to our Maidenhead store we can cancel the rental whilst you wait and there is no need to deal with any packaging or waiting for couriers. The shop is open Monday-Saturday 9.30am to 5.30pm. Our address is Dawkes Music, The Woodwind & Brass Warehouse, Reform Road, Maidenhead, SL6 8BT.

2. Dawkes Courier Collection

If it's not possible for you to visit the store we can instruct our couriers to collect the instrument from your home or work place for a fee of £20.00.
Please make note of the following conditions:

Please note failure to complete the above steps may involve in a delay in us cancelling the rental or the insurance excess being invoked for any damage caused whilst the instrument is in transit. Dawkes Music cannot be held responsible for any delays or damage if the above steps are not completed in full.

3. Self Arrange Courier/Postal Service

If you would prefer to arrange your own method of return, i.e. Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day, or choosing another Courier then you can arrange this at your convenience and not have to wait for our couriers on the selected day.

Please note the following instructions remain:

Please ensure the method of sending has a suitable insurance coverage for the value of your instrument. The instrument is still your responsibility until it arrives back at our Maidenhead branch. Please send to:
