Produced in the EU the Buffet E11 represents excellent value for money and is capable of taking players through their grades towards a higher level. With the wooden body the E11 offers a darker, fuller tone with more projection than plastic models that students may have begun on.

The experience of buying a clarinet from Dawkes was first class. They arranged a 2-hour slot for me to try out different instruments. I was not rushed at all and Adam was available to answer questions (was also very knowledgable) and was not at all pressurising. I ended up choosing the Buffet E11 to replace my old plastic instrument - I am delighted with it. The price at Dawkes wasn't the cheapest, but was not far off and considering the excellent service, I think represents really good value for money. Thanks Dawkes - I will recommend you to others.

It was a long process choosing this clarinet involving a two-hour session in a sound room with 5 different makes of clarinet to try. The Dawkes staff were so helpful I gave them my budget and after a short chat about what I needed, they suggested some clarinets for me to try and then left me to play them all, checking in with me occasionally. I very quickly narrowed it down to a choice of 2 - the Yamaha 450 and the Buffet E11. But the E11 won my heart. Such a pleasure to play. And having learnt on a Buffet student clarinet, it was a natural progression choice. The whole process was made so much easier and Dawkes' service throughout was top class.
