Product Information
This Huller Bassoon is an excellent choice for an advancing student looking for an upgrade instrument. Made in Germany, this model has 5 rollers, a High D key, E/F# trill and 2nd Bb keys, an Ab thumb key and a whisper key lock. Also included is a Mollenhauer #2 crook.
Hullers play with a sweet, dark, chocolatey tone. Responsive and easy to blow, the sound is very even across the range. Intonation is also very good from top to bottom. Supplied in a hard case with a handrest (bird) and a new pair of mops.
Silver plated keywork throughout and with a nickel silver crook, the body is made from Maple with a dark coloured varnish. The condition of the varnish is generally good, just a few nicks and dents from normal use here and there. The plating is also in very good condition throughout. Our workshop have completely re-padded the instrument and are happy to offer our 6 month secondhand warranty.
