Product Information

Renowned manufacturers, Howarth of London have designed the Howarth S40C for advancing players wanting an oboe to take them from the higher grades and beyond, an oboe ideal for intermediate to a professional level.

It has a simplified conservatoire French system mechanism with additional thumbplate. This allows the player to use a wide range of alternative fingerings, with professional features including mechanisms for many extra trills and a Bb vent key on the bell.

This pre-owned S40C is in excellent, clean condition, no marks etc on the wood or keywork and only light signs of use. In a stunning mopane wood finish giving the oboe a warm, rounded tone and ease of projection.
