HW Alto Sax Pad Saver - Stores in Body

Perfect for the job and excellent postal service, it arrived within 24 hours. There's a lot of discern about pad savers, but I have been using one on both my tenor and soprano without any problem for more years than I care to remember. I do use top of the range pads, which incidentally I purchased from Dawkes and would consider the extra cost of good pads well worth the money.

A great way to absorb the moisture that inevitably builds up on the inside of the saxophone when you play it. Much easier to use than the fiddly "bit of cloth on a weighted string" and can also act as "neck protector" to the instrument, when it is residing in its case. Particularly good colours for Dennis The Menace fans....

Great way to mop up fluid when out and about and there is no opportunity to use a pull through. I alway keep it in the sax

Fits into body easily. Long fibres reach pads. Not as thick as previous pad.

I put the pad saver into my sax after playing with the band. This seems tp help to dry the pads. However, I remove it when I get home as I don't think leaving a "moist" implement inside the sax for a long period is such a good idea. Nothing like air circulation!

Excellent book / DVD & CD for saxophone beginners

Stores in the body. Much less hassle than a pull-through cloth. What more could you want?
