Product Information

This Miyazawa open-hole flute is ideal for any advancing flautist. All Miyazawa flutes are handmade resulting in exceptional precision. The tone is solid and fluid across the whole range, it has a beautiful singing quality synonymous with the Miyazawa brand..

The PB102RE has a part Brögger mechanism including the Brögger thumb key. It also features a sterling silver lip plate, riser and barrel as well as a silver plated nickel body, footjoint and key mechanism.

Other key features include:

  • French style pointed tonearms: Allow toneholes to close evenly and fully.
  • Drawn toneholes: shaped from the flute's body, drawn toneholes provide an improved flexibility and give a richer warmer sound.
  • Pinless partial Brögger System mechanism: Designed by flutemaker Johan Brögger, this design helps the keywork perform more accurately and consistently.
