I have never used one in the past but now my fingers are older and begin to suffer from arthritis taking the weight of the instrument off my hands makes a big difference.

This has made it so much more comfortable to play, and good price

The strap is easy to adjust and comfortable to use. Great help to relieve pressure on arthritic thumb.

Comfortable and worth the spend

Quite difficult to set the required length on neck strap

The strap is a very effective device. The problem is that it cannot be used with an adjustable thumb rest. If there is no ring on the thumb rest a leather pad is included (only one; another is needed for an A clarinet) to which the rest's hook can be attached, but it doesn't fit on the Buffet RC's thumb rest. So rating it difficult as it is a good product but to be used only with a fixed thumb rest.
