Justin Swadling is a world class session musician who has worked at the top of the music business now for over 15 years. Justin has appeared live and recorded with over 50 of the biggest names in the industry that include: Candi Staton, The Temptations, Tony Hadley, Holly Johnson, ABC, Jason Donovan, Bonnie Tyler, Louisa Johnson, Pixie Lott, Ady Suleiman, Jocelyn Brown, Odyssey, Archie Bell and the Drells, Tiffany, T'Pau and Nick Heyward.
On tour Justin has performed at many of the most prestigious music venues and festivals in the UK and around the world in over 30 countries from small music venues to stadiums. He has also performed live and pre-recorded television for shows such as Proms in the Park, Tonight at the London Palladium and The One Show.
During his years at The London College of Music, Justin received many awards for performance including: Jazz Musician of the Year and LCM Woodwind Player of Year. He studied with saxophonist Pete Cook and legendary British jazz composer Eddie Harvey.
Justin has also released several award winning albums of his own music, distributed internationally, by the highly acclaimed record label 33Jazz. In 2015 Justin's collaboration with the world class "Piatti" strings quartet earned him praise across the jazz world with the internationally acclaimed, Downbeat Magazine, describing the work;
"As Charlie Parker's work with strings, A Place to Be creates a new, distinctive sound"
and BBC Radio 3 as
"A bold journey through timbre and texture"
