This vintage Selmer Super Balanced Action estimated from around 1951 is a real treat to play and has silver aesthetic that wows! With a full bodied, silky smooth core sound this vintage Selmer Alto Sax offers plenty of tonal colour and versatility.
The key action is light making it very easy to move across the full range at pace. These vintage Selmer's, just before the Mark VI arrival, feel great in the hands and have a gorgeous tone and response. This particular example is in fantastic mechanical order, with only aesthetic wear and tear to the lacquer and body indicative of its age.
Like all our pre-owned saxophones this Selmer has been given a full set-up and preparation in our workshop before sale ensuring it blows easily across the whole range.
