Consistent, Consistent, consistent, no blowing in. I can pick up my sax and everything I need to do is there immediately, lasts for 6 months or more. Altissimo range is easier. This is the 3rd reed I've had and don't think I'll go back to cane reeds. A bit expensive but only the same price as a box of the jazz select reeds I used before and last as long if not longer than a box( the most reeds I had got from a box that were as good was probably 5 reeds). I'd recommend them to anyone, especially if you play a lot, I try to get a couple of hours a day.

Fantastic reed that allows a really solid sound from the lower register to the upper register on the saxophone.Much better than cane reeds.
