The highly respected Vandoren range of mouthpieces are used the world over by professional players, teachers and students. With exceptional consistency and a broad range of models they offer all clarinettists a wide variety of options to cope with all playing styles and genres.

The Vandoren Eb Clarinet mouthpieces are made of high quality ebonite and are available in a few size and design options.

  • Available in 5RV, B40, B44 and M30
  • The 5RV has the closest tip opening and as such has a very centred controlled rich sound and suits a harder reed set-up.
  • The B40 and B44 are more open and have slightly longer facing lengths.
  • The M30 is the newest model and has the largest tip opening.
  • Made in France.
  • Produced to a high consistency combining the best of modern manufacturing and years of technical experience.

My tone has improved with this mouthpiece but my reeds ( strength 3 ) seem a little too hard now so I am now trying out 2.5 strength.
