Perfect diameter and only a little sanding required to adjust the depth.

Valve guides as described. The may need to careful filing to fit BBb Besson sovereign 996, when alterations made they work well.

Very good quality. Used for valves on brass instruments. Very easy to fit & work well.

Valve guides did not fit my Besson BE794 model tuba. They 'key' portion of the guide was too thick, so it wouldn't fit in the groove inside the valve housing. I was able to make them fit by using fine-grit emory paper to sand down the thickness to fit the groove.

The supplier responded:Thanks for your feedback. Sometimes with these plastic guides they do need modifying slightly to fit specific instruments. This is commonplace at the factory and in general workshops as the plastic sizing can vary slightly from a used or new valve etc. Thanks for mentioning it though as it can be useful for other buyers to know it's not unheard of to make small modifications to ensure best fit when buying plastic valve guides.
