It did the job. I may not get a chance to put this later so I'll say it here....this job was an emergency, ordered Wed 14th, posted Thur 15th 1st class, didn't arrive till Tue 20th. Not the fault of Dawkes but maybe your distribution/postage system needs reviewing. Could there be an express courier option or would a private postal service be better?

The supplier responded:Hi, Thanks for your recent purchase. Please accept our apologies that the order was not sent 1st class the same day (as ordered before 2pm). The issue of how long Royal Mail takes is a separate problem, although we send 1st class (when selected) that can be 24-72hrs depending on their service. We do offer a next day courier option at the checkout and we'd suggest for emergency jobs where the part is needed the next ay guaranteed we'd suggest choosing the courier option on offer - it's more expensive but that's because it will 100% arrive the next day whereas Royal Mail don't promise that with 1st class.
