Having rented a sax from Dawkes for my son, we decided that it was time to buy him his own. Not new to brass or guitar, but new to woodwind. Staff were very helpful dealing with a series of questions to assess suitability of alto v tenor, what's in the box, reeds, delivery, service et.al. Excellent packaging and delivery. An alto is eminently handlable, and pitched within human voice range, so perfect. Thoroughly recommend Dawkes as the supplier, and an alto for a beginning saxophonist.
