Yamaha’s stunning professional YCL-874W wooden flutes offer a warm, rich and full tone to the highly advanced flautist, with the projection and powerful sound needed to be heard across the orchestra and fill the largest concert hall.

This flute is a completely handmade wooden flute with all the mod-cons: open hole keywork, solid silver keys, offset keywork, French style pointed keywork, supplied in professional style case. The wooden head joint is made from a  single piece of grenadilla wood. It is fitted to the body with a solid silver tenon joint, allowing a focused and pure tonal quality across the range of the instrument. 

The silver used throughout the instrument is subject to a unique annealing process to deliver an impeccably pure tonal quality across the range of the instrument. This instrument offers a wide dynamic range and exquisite control.

The condition of this secondhand flute is superb, it has been well cared for and there is hardly a mark on it from its previous home. There is a little surface scratching on some of the silver keywork, no more than normal use.
