Product Information

The Yamaha YSL-356G is a student/first level intermediate instrument with a Bb/F trigger. Based on the popular YSL-354 Tenor Trombone the 356G has the additional rotor/trigger system to extend the range of the instrument which makes it a longer term proposition to the standard YSL-354. 

This would not be an instrument for a young beginner due to the added weight and rotor but it would be great for an advancing student wanting that system but on a budget. The gold brass bell offers a rich, warm tone throughout the range.

The Yamaha YSL-356G trombone is no longer available in the U.S. I looked around and Dawkes had one at a good price. They were also responsive and helpful, Grace Hancock in particular. Nine days after they shipped the horn, it arrived at my doorstep in Maryland, in perfect condition. My daughter loves her new trombone.
