Product Information

New from German manufacturers Uebel is the Excellence model at the top of their professional range. The Excellence offers a full, sonorous and expansive tone. Making full use of the exquisitely aged Grenadilla wood that Uebel have been respected for since 1936, the Excellence is a welcome addition to the premium professional Clarinet range.

The Excellence has various unique design features including a lined metal socket on the lower joint which increases power and resonance. The bore shaping is a multi-step procedure carried out by only the most experienced artisans in the production process. This results in an instrument which is perfectly balanced in tone and intonation across the range. The Excellence offers a commanding and bold tone which is perfect for projecting across an Orchestra or ensemble.

Like many of the Uebel professional Clarinet range the Excellence features LP Gore® pads throughout, 2 barrels, 18 keys, the left hand Eb key and is supplied with a deluxe case, mouthpiece and ligature. There are also a couple of unique aesthetic touches on the Excellence model such as the floral ornamentation on the metal rings and the inlaid sterling silver signet.

In summary this is a premium professional Clarinet which offers all the best qualities of the highly respected Uebel tradition. We'd put it on par with pro models such as the Buffet Divine, Selmer Muse. Backun MoBa and Yamaha SE Artist model.
