The Eb Soprano Cornet is mainly used in as a solo instrument in brass bands and therefore is an instrument that needs to be able to produce a warm tone whilst being able to project clearly.

The YCR-2610SII is an instrument that gives many players the chance to play Eb cornet without having to buy an instrument which would normally be at a very high price. There are very few Eb cornet models made to suit a smaller budget as many manufactures see it as being a professional range instrument only. This model offers a good tone, superior valve performance and a brilliant clear, warm tone.
