The Backun Signature Bb Mouthpiece O-Ring Set (medium) provides three replacement O-Rings designed for use with Backun Signature Bb Clarinet Mouthpieces. The medium size fits the majority of clarinet barrel tenons and comes as standard on all Backun Signature Series Mouthpieces. These self-lubricating O-Rings reduce friction when assembling the clarinet, ensuring smooth, reliable attachment and secure seal.

Constructed from food-certified elastomer, the medium O-Rings (17.50mm x 2.00mm) maintain their integrity through regular use and repeated assembly cycles. The self-lubricating design minimises wear on both the mouthpiece tenon and barrel top, extending the lifespan of both components. To re-lubricate if needed, apply a drop of almond oil or a tiny bit of cork grease on the inner wall of the barrel top tenon, following Richard Hawkins' recommended maintenance approach.
