The Berp is designed to allow you to buzz your Cornet mouthpiece while holding the instrument in the regular playing position. The player can then press the valves to match the pitches they are buzzing. The connection is made between buzzing the mouthpiece and playing the instrument in a very real way. The benefits of buzzing have now been increased and expanded considerably with the Berp concept.
The Berp clamp fits firmly onto the open end of the instrument receiver with the mouthpiece removed. It's designed to tighten around a circular, hex or convex shaped opening so it shouldn't matter what make your instrument is. Once the Berp is firmly attached you can easily switch between buzzing and playing your instrument normally by simply removing and re-inserting the mouthpiece accordingly.
