The Besson Prestige Euphonium is as good as it gets for Euphonium players! A large bell and bore size, super responsive valves, a main tuning slide trigger to fine tune notes and a beautiful silver plate finish with gold plated accents, all of that plus the richest, warmest, sweetest tone possible on a Euphonium add up to one of the finest instruments available to buy today.
This Prestige euphonium is in great condition. There is just some surface scratching to the silver plate around the usual contact points, and a small dent in the mouthpipe which it hasn’t been possible for our technicians to remove. It’s small enough not to make a different to how the instrument plays. Also supplied in its original hard case with a soft fabric outer and a Denis Wick SM4 mouthpiece.
This is one of the last instruments to be made in the UK in around 2002 in Besson’s factory before the move to Germany. Notably, the quality of the instruments produced in the last few months of the UK production were really superb and we’re suitably impressed with this one. As with all our second hand brass instruments, this Euphonium has been fully checked and set-up in our workshop prior to sale and comes with a 6 month warranty.
