This leather BG ligature fits most ebonite or plastic Tenor sax mouthpieces. The leather outer design with rubber touch plate gives a warmer, rounder sound than a traditional metal ligature.
Made in France the BG range has been the choice of amateurs and professionals for many years. This L13 original leather holds the reed securely thanks to the rubber grips and solid single screw design.

The ligature is very good at keeping Synthetic reeds in place as they do have a habit of moving from side to side
Secure and reliable, recommended by Dawkes.
Easy to use and quick to adjust. My mouthpiece is on the larger side and this is one of the few that fits but it will be good fit on most rubber mouthpieces as it has plenty of flexibility. It's promoted as darkening your sound but I would say that it gives more richness without losing the possibility of having as much edge as you want, I actually find I can get more edge than from other ligs with metal plates or inserts. obviously the mouthpiece makes a bigger difference but this is a high quality ligature at a reasonable price and if you are looking for a leather/fabric type lig I would give it a try.
