This BG Zen sling is designed to be used on Bb or A Clarinets. This model is made of nylon with no extra padding. Some adult users prefer these non-padded straps as they are less bulky. It features a lightweight ABS 'Zen' spacer which allows for easy adjustment up and down. This is the non-elasticated version which ensures the sling stays exactly in place when set.

This sling is suitable for child or adult use, but we would generally recommend it for adults due to the lack of padding. The Zen spacer offers quick and secure adjustment to suit your size. The hook is plastic lined metal, this ensures it is strong but won't damage your instrument. The hook can then either be inserted into the hook ring (if your instrument has one) or if your instrument doesn't you can use the connector leather pad over a standard thumbrest (see alternate pictures).

I have started using this to relieve elbow pain from supporting the weight of the clarinet. It works very well. It has sufficient adjustment and the design stops the neck strap from being too tight around the neck.
