The legendary Brilhart Alto Saxophone mouthpieces are back! The ‘Carlsbad’ Eboline saxophone mouthpieces have returned and crucially they are being masterfully produced utilising the original molds created by Arnold Brilhart himself after his move to California in 1964.

In terms of how they play, the Conn-Selmer company (who are producing them using the original molds) are keen to state that they have a full, resonant tone with enough ‘edge’ for modern players. In our testing we've actually found that they tend to lean towards an ‘old’ sound. There is a softness, depth and quality which is actually quite different to many modern mouthpieces which feel like they're geared to give power, edge and bite. If you're looking for a quality ‘old-school’ sound on Alto which is a little softer than most then these are well worth your time.

Each Ebolin model Alto Sax mouthpiece is hand-finished and offers a full, resonant tone. These mouthpieces are 100% made in the USA and are available in a variety of tip openings (see info below). We're very excited to have these models available as a truly old-sounding option for players wanting that warmth and density of tone.
