The Buffet E13 is the most popular wooden upgrade clarinet on the market, and has been for years. Made in France at the Buffet Crampon factory from carefully selected Grenadilla wood, it has a bright, flexible and lively tone with a solid tuning scale that works just as well in a concert band as it does in grades, classical playing or jazz.
It is the natural step up for a player moving on from a plastic student model at around Grade 4 or 5. The jump in tone quality and projection is immediate, and it is an instrument that will keep rewarding the player as they advance rather than one they outgrow quickly. Teachers recommend it as often as players choose it.
This particular example is in overall good condition. The keywork is in excellent condition with little signs of use. The wood is also a great nick, however the ‘Buffet Crampon’ and 'E13' logos have worn away on the bell and top joint. Like all our pre-owned clarinets it has been fully checked and set up in our specialist woodwind workshop prior to sale.
It is supplied with a basic, but practical, case and original plastic student mouthpiece. At this price it represents a considerable saving on the new equivalent, and it is ready to play from the moment it arrives.
