This beautiful new Icon bell from Buffet is designed to fit with their Prestige Low C Bass Clarinet. It is offered in a copper material with a clear lacquer finish. This material and finish combination offers a richer, warmer and rounder tone across the full range of the instrument.

The bell on a Bass Clarinet can make quite a substantial difference to the tone and sonority of the instrument. In the past some players have experimented with wooden bells, but these are heavy, expensive and can deaden or darken the sound too heavily. This new Icon bell is an excellent compromise. We would highly recommend trying this bell to see how it works for you, you'll be surprised how much difference it makes and when coupled with the Icon copper neck it makes a great opportunity to have a variable set-up depending on the genre, performance space or recording requirements of your playing situations.
