The Buffet Tradition is one of the more interesting instruments Buffet have made in recent years. It takes its inspiration from a 1960s design while answering the demands of modern repertoire and performance practice, and its cylindrical bore sits alongside the R13 and RC bore families rather than replacing either.

The result is a clear, focused and rich sound with an even scale and consistent intonation through all registers, and it works in any acoustic. Tone hole placement draws on the Tosca design, while the purity of sound harks back to the older BC20. It is a professional instrument for a player who wants something with genuine character rather than the obvious choice.

This particular example is in very good condition. The pads are brand new, with a mixture of white leather and cork installed. The wood making up the top joint has a small blemish inbetween the throat G#/Ab and thumb F keys but it's nothing to be concerned about. Like all our pre-owned instruments it has been fully checked and set up in our workshop prior to sale by one of our experienced technicians, so you can buy with total confidence.

It is supplied with the original Buffet double case (Pochette style) so you can fit a matching Bb inside. NO mouthpiece is included. At this price it represents a considerable saving on the new equivalent, and it is ready to play from the moment it arrives.
