I'm delighted with this item for 2 reasons. 1. I use a pull-through swab while practising but at the end of the day, when I take my clarinet apart, it's great for a final thorough drying of each part. 2. It has only shed a very few threads, unlike my mouthpiece swabs, and does a great job on the mouthpiece too. A couple of pieces of advice from my experience; be gentle with it on the mouthpiece and keep a finger or thumb at the tip so the white plastic cone at the top passes over the lip of the mouthpiece rather that scraping it. Finally, keep some super glue handy in case the handle comes loose, then basically fill the hole in the wooden handle with super glue, screw in the end of the twisted metal wires until they won't go any further into the wood, then put on a sheet of paper for 24 hours for the bond to attain maximum strength. It worked a treat for me.

Seems fine - needs longer use to see if it sheds fibres or is difficult to clean
