CYCLCX-08739 - Yamaha YCL-CX - Bb Clarinet (08739)

Product Information

The Yamaha YCL-CX is the first of the Yamaha Custom range, clarinets that are hand finished and crafted rather than production made. Made in Japan, it gives a professional player all the benefits of a handcrafted instrument at a very competitive price.

The CX has a full, round sound with an immediate clarity to the tone. Inset tone holes and a silver plated bell ring contribute to the presence and openness of the sound, and compared with many production clarinets it offers a darker, more powerful tone that gives the player real versatility. It is ideal for a player specialising in solo or band playing, or anyone moving up to their first professional clarinet.

This particular example is in excellent overall condition. The pads have all been replaced with white leather pads. The wood and keywork look untouched, apart from one mark on the bottom of the bell. There is a slight fading on the painted logo on the included barrel, also. Like all our pre-owned clarinets it has been fully checked and set up in our woodwind workshop prior to sale, so you can buy with total confidence.

It is supplied with the original Yamaha Custom slim hard case and Vandoren BD5 mouthpiece with Rovner ligature. At this price it represents a considerable saving on the new equivalent.
