Getzen's 3508 Custom is a superb option for the player looking for a small to medium bore jazz trombone. Made in the USA, Getzen have a long standing reputation for build quality and arguably make the best valves in the brass world, though it is their slides that matter here.

It features a .500 and .508 inch dual bore slide, which lends a little more warmth and openness to the sound than something like a King 2B, and three interchangeable leadpipes so the player can tune the resistance, sound and response of the setup to their own playing. This is the rose brass version, and the higher copper content gives a warmer, rounder tone than the yellow brass model, with a bell diameter and taper closer to the King 3B design. The result is a trombone capable of a rich, broad sound when you want it and a bright, sweet tone when pushed. An excellent professional standard Bb trombone.

This particular example is in like new condition. It was purchased new from us only in June 2025. Like all our pre-owned instruments it has been fully checked and set up in our workshop prior to sale by one of our experienced technicians, so you can buy with total confidence.

It is supplied with the original Getzen hard case and three interchangeable mouth pipes, all with different bore sizes. No mouthpiece is included with this instrument.
