Product Information

The Gonzalez RC reed has a classic French Filed cut. This provides the reeds with a clarity of tone and softness in the lower register. The RC reeds suit a broad range of styles due to their ease of play, including Sax Quartets, Jazz, Commercial and Concert Band.

Gonzalez reeds are produced and grown in the foothills of the Andes in Argentina. The soil is some of the most fertile in the world and due to the climate and wind this is a perfect region for producing reeds.

Gonzalez use traditional methods to harvest the cane and it is carefully and slowly dried and prepared for use. This extra time allows the internal fibres of the cane to mature properly and ensures a consistend and long lasting reed.
