Product Information

The Hercules DS630BB is an Auto Grip System (AGS) saxophone stand for alto and tenor saxophones. The built-in AGS yoke safely locks your instrument in place, whilst the adjustable backrest with locking pins provides secure support. Lightweight at 0.98 kg (2.2 lbs), it folds compactly and includes a recyclable storage bag.

The DS630BB features two extra peg holes, allowing you to store up to two additional saxophones. The locking pin mechanism secures the stand and collapses with a simple press. With 430 mm height and 235 mm base radius, it offers stability without bulk. Load capacity reaches 10 kg (22 lbs), suitable for multiple instruments.

When folded, the stand measures 115 x 100 x 310 mm, fitting easily into gig bags or cases. Ideal for gigging musicians and educators needing portable storage. We recommend the DS630BB for saxophonists seeking durability, convenience, and space-saving design.

Hercules DS630BB Alto or Tenor Sax Stand - Auto Grip System Reviews

Anonymous review via Feefo  -  2026-05-18

Does what it says on the tin. Folds flat so takes less room in the bag, which is why I bought it. Grips the bell of the sax so needs a foot on the base to lift the sax out. Folds away quickly without having to take it apart.

Very good quality piece of gear, feels sturdy but light and folds away easily.

Great stand. Got a Hercules guitar stand and wouldn't bother with any other make. The auto grip works a treat. Great quality and stability.

I have a quite a few Hercules stands. This one is as good as the rest; robust and easy to use. It folds up compactly in one piece for storage / transport. The auto grip system is a great feature – I’ve not come across this with any other make.
