Product Information

The Holton H178 is a popular upgrade/semi-pro Full Double French Horn, ideal for anyone moving off a single or compensating model. The H178 is made of yellow brass and this helps give it a focused and clear tone which helps the Horn project. It has a 12mm bore, Kruspe style wrap, and a medium throated bell to enhance the sonority.

This particular pre-owned example is in good clean overall order with just some general aesthetic signs of use on the lacquer. It has clearly been well maintained and cared for and displays no dents or anything untoward. Like all our pre-owned instruments this French Horn has been fully checked and set-up in our workshop prior to sale. It comes with a padded portable case (inc.backpack straps), and a Paxman #3 mouthpiece (used).
