The Wood Stone clarinet reed features a thick heel and heart with a thin tip, similar to Vandoren Classic Blue Box. The Wood Stone reeds offer a quick response due to the thin tip and a rich and deep sound thanks to the thick heart. French filed, so will suit most Vandoren/Selmer etc mouthpieces.
Hand selected from premium quality french cane the Wood Stone reed is meticulously created to the exacting standards of the Wood Stone specialists in Japan.

New item for me. Well packed and easy to use.
These are like the traditional Vandoren \"blue\" boxed reeds but more substantial. I personally found them half a strength harder than the Vandorens. Lovely deep tone.

So far I am very pleased with these reeds.
Top quality- normally you can expect 3 or 4 playable reeds from a box of ten. Two boxes of 5 Ishimon have delivered 10 playable reeds..
Probably should have ordered reed strength 3 but that is my fault.
Very good quality reeds, very consistent within the box. Similar to Vandoren blue box strength 3 reeds, but more woody and a little more resistant.
