Since 1894 the King name has been synonymous with world class brass instruments, and the 4B is one of the classics of the range. Built in Eastlake, Ohio, today's King trombones continue a tradition that runs back through Tommy Dorsey and a long line of professional players.

The 4B is a classic large bore symphonic design. The .547 inch bore gives a very open feel with real projection, and the 8 5/8 inch bell offers a quick response with a broad sound. Nickel silver outer slides and chrome plated inner tubes give the ideal surface for smooth, quick slide action. It is genuinely versatile, well suited to the lower parts in a jazz band and equally at home in a symphonic section, and it is a horn a player can build a career around.

This particular example came to us in fair condition. The hand slide bow has been replaced and the hand slide has been re-lacquered. Like all our pre-owned instruments it has been fully checked and set up in our workshop prior to sale by one of our experienced technicians, so you can buy with total confidence.

It is supplied with the original King hard case. No mouthpiece is supplied with this instrument.
