This is the first \"plastic\" sax reed I\'ve played that is genuinely comparable with the best cane reeds. Apart from the texture of the surface (and the appearance, of course) it plays just like a cane reed. Expensive (as one would expect), but likely to last a long time - no longer are plastic reeds relegated to being \"tolerable in an emergency\"!
